Striker Path v2.0.2 — Custom Face on the web, and a cup table that adds up
A short one, mostly repairs — and one thing that has been promised on the Custom Face page since launch and finally works.
📸 Custom Face, buyable from the browser
- The unlock button works. Until today it sat there disabled, telling you to buy the pack in the mobile app — an app that is not published yet. That was a dead end, and it was our fault: the checkout was fully wired on the server, but the key the browser needs to open it was never built into the page. It is now, so the Founder Edition can be bought from the web.
- The founder price is described honestly. It used to promise the 9.99 price "until v1.0 ships" — a version number that appears nowhere else in the game and reads as a contradiction next to a build called 2.0.2. It now says what it means: the founder price holds while the game is in beta, and the regular price applies when the beta ends. The version badge in settings reads Beta 2.0.2 for the same reason.
🏆 Cups
- The table no longer shows zero for the two clubs in your own match. In a round-robin cup, if you had not opened your own result yet, your club and your opponent both showed no games played, no points, nothing — while everyone else's match was counted. Opening the result made the row appear, which made it look random. The standings are now worked out by the server, which knows every result whether or not you have opened yours; the score itself stays sealed exactly as before. Cups already running fix themselves the moment this update lands.
- The away club can open its own cup report. It could read the report but not break the seal from there, so it was stuck waiting on a match it had already played.
🏅 Your profile
- Your badges are visible again. The badge switch in profile settings read a list the game never sent, so it was always empty, could never be saved, and the public profile treated that as "hide everything" — which meant a FOUNDER plate was visible only to its owner. Badges are public by default now, because an earned badge is an honour, not a secret, and the switch works on web and phone if you would rather hide one.
- Your club motto appears. You could write one and never see it anywhere. It was being saved the whole time; the game simply never sent it back to the screens meant to show it. It is now on your club page, on any club's public page, and on the club tile of your profile — which was also missing your club's strength for the same reason.
🎨 Looks
- One hairstyle stops being drawn across its own face. The curly style has strands that fall over the eyes, and the game was painting the eyebrows and eyes on top of them, so the brows floated over the hair and the eye outlines cut through the strands. The fringe now falls in front, the way hair actually does. We measured the other seven styles against every eyebrow and eye shape before touching anything — this one was the only offender, and the other seven are untouched.
🎯 Missions
- Gear Up and the friend-request mission count each item and each player once. Both could be finished by repeating a free action — taking the same item off and putting it back, or cancelling and resending a request to the same player, which also wiped the cooldown that was supposed to slow it down. Equipping something new still counts, an item you sold and bought again counts again, and everything resets with the next daily and weekly. Progress anyone already banked stays banked.
Keep the reports coming — every fix above came from one. See you on the pitch. ⚽
