Striker Path v2.1.2 — the game tells you what to do, and the chat tells you when somebody spoke
Everything below came out of the bugs and suggestions channels. Thank you — genuinely, this one is almost entirely yours.
🧭 The game now tells you what to do next
The most common thing said about Striker Path is that it isn't clear what the game wants from you. It turns out the game already knew: every time the home screen loaded it worked out your next important action — claim the daily reward, set today's lineup, read a result, finish a mission, train — and then never showed it to anybody.
It's on the home screen now, at the top, with the button that takes you there.
🔤 The buttons have names
The six round buttons along the bottom had no words on them. The name existed, but it was hidden — left over from a prototype. Every one of them now says what it is.
💬 Chat: a way out, and a dot when somebody has spoken
Two things you asked for, in the same week.
On a phone, the only way to put the chat away was to catch a thin bar and drag it down. There's a close button beside it now.
And the chat button only ever lit up when somebody said your name. A room could talk all afternoon and nothing told you. It now carries a quiet white dot when there are messages you haven't read, and keeps the red number for mentions — unread and "someone's talking to you" are different things, and they finally look different.
👕 Your club's kit, everywhere it belongs
In the rankings every player wore the same pale blue shirt, whatever club they played for. Same on the advanced lineup: eleven players from one club, dressed as free agents. Both wear the club's kit now — rankings, podium, player card, pitch and bench.
🎽 The new shirt designs got their shape back
The nineteen new designs came out flat: the shoulders and the curve of the chest that the original shirt has weren't there, so a striped shirt read like a sticker. They're back, without the smear across the chest that made us take them out in the first place.
⭐ A club with Club Premium wears it
A small gold pip now sits on the corner of the badge, so the rest of the league can see it — league tables, rankings, chat, member lists. And the offer itself finally shows what you get: the nine shirts and the twenty badges, drawn in your own club's colours, instead of a sentence with a number in it.
🎁 Who has given what this season
You can see, per member, the coins and gems given to the club this season — asked for in the suggestions channel, as a way of seeing who is actually pulling their weight. It resets when the season does, because the window IS the season.
🩹 And the smaller ones
Team badges sometimes drew as a plain square whatever design you'd chosen. The rankings wouldn't load on an iPhone — it was running the tab out of memory, not looping. The chemistry panel turned white-on-white in dark mode. All three are fixed.
