Striker Path v2.1.4 — every piece of gear is new, the game has sound, and your club fits on one screen
The biggest update since launch. Read the first section before you open your locker.
🧤 Every piece of gear in the game is new
The shop had 100 items, priced and scaled by hand, and they had drifted: some were strictly better than things twice their level, and above level 30 there was almost nothing left to want. That range is gone. In its place are 360 pieces, generated from one model so that what an item is worth, what it costs and the level it asks for all come from the same place and cannot disagree.
They run in twelve steps from level 5 to level 60. Every rung has more than one option per slot, so reaching a step no longer means everyone wears the same thing — and from the halfway point a striker's boots and a keeper's are genuinely different items, not one item in two colours.
Your old gear is gone, and you have been paid back in full. Not one product id survived the change, so nothing you owned could be carried across. Every coin you spent on an item you were still holding is waiting in your inbox — open it and claim. Gold spent on something you had already sold is not refunded: selling paid you for that at the time. Gems are not refunded.
If your locker looks empty, that is why, and the money is not lost.
📖 You can see the whole ladder now
A player asked for "a graph or a list that clearly shows the required level for getting specific items". The shop only ever offers a narrow window around where you stand, which is fine for a daily rotation and useless for planning: you cannot see what is coming, and you cannot see what you walked past.
The Shop now has a Catalogue tab with all 360 pieces grouped by the level they ask for, from 5 to 60. Filter by slot, by rarity or by your position, hide what you already own, and it opens on the rung you are standing on. It reads the same catalogue the shop sells from, so the two can never disagree about what something costs.
The store front also prints the chance of each rarity turning up, straight from the table the rotation actually rolls on — so you know what a refresh is really buying before you spend the gems. And the featured slot now holds the best piece in today's stock instead of whichever one came first; it changes nothing about what is stocked or how likely anything is to appear.
🔊 The game has a voice
It was silent. Not quietly designed — silent: the sound engine was wired up and no effect ever actually played. Every button, tab, purchase, claim and refusal has its own cue now, and the reward sounds are distinct from the ordinary ones so a payout does not sound like a tap. You can turn it off in Settings.
🏆 Trophy cabinets
What you and your club have won now has somewhere to live — on your profile and on any club's public page. League titles and cups belong to the club; rank trophies belong to the player, and the two never mix.
🏟️ The club is one screen
Squad and line-up lived on two separate pages, and neither said what the other did. They are one screen now: pick your eleven, swap someone off the bench, and read the squad without going anywhere. The coach sits above the pitch where you can see what he is telling you, and everything a manager can reach — tactics, team training, friendlies, the scout market, your crest — is listed in one place instead of behind a page you had to already know about.
🩺 The Medical Centre pays what it says
A player asked whether upgrading it was worth anything, because his 100-energy cold bath returned exactly 100. He was right to ask. A recovery session collected by tapping Claim got the facility bonus; one that finished while the game was closed did not — and the longer the session, the likelier it is to finish while you are away. So the bonus was quietly missing from sleep and sports massage, the two worth the most. Both routes pay the same now.
✕ Notifications close when you close them
Every notification in the game ignored its own X — all of them, since the day they were added. Pressing it asked the game to dismiss a message that did not exist, so the banner sat there until its timer ran out. The inbox had the same problem twice over: the message it opens on was never marked as read, and the unread badge counted messages that were not even on the list.
📉 Pages load lighter
Every page used to carry all five languages. You now download the one you are reading in, which takes about 280 kB off the first load of every screen.
🧾 The rest
- The club overview reads as a page on a computer screen instead of a narrow column.
- The treasury shows your gems, not just your gold. Facility upgrades spend both.
- Recent activity lists your league matches, going back to your club's first game — and still hides the score of a match you have not opened.
- Training shows what a booster will actually pay before you start it.
- Faces sit straight in the square line-up tokens, and a long list of faces no longer uses enough memory to close the game.
- Item cards stopped advertising bonuses the item does not give.
- You can choose who is allowed to join your club.
- A Club Premium club's name is written in gold.
