Striker Path v2.2.4 — your signature play actually does something now
⚽ Your signature play actually does something now
Signature moves arrived in v2.2.3 with a promise: wear one and that play happens about a third more often. It did not. The eight values that decide what a signature is worth were read, assembled, and then never handed to the match engine — so for a month, wearing one changed nothing on the pitch.
It works now. Your play comes out more often, your other plays a little less, a rival wearing its counter blunts it, and the weather gets its say — exactly what the panel has been describing since the day it shipped.
If you already earned one, there is nothing to do. It starts counting the next time you play.
🪙 Energy, form and gold stop going missing
Six places used to update a balance the slow way: read the number, do the sum, write the total back. Anything that changed the same number in between was simply overwritten — it did not go somewhere wrong, it stopped existing.
What that could cost you:
- Finishing a match while a recovery session paid out, or the other way round. One of the two erased the other.
- The overnight settling of training you left running — it could swallow a shop purchase made in the same moment.
- The first time you opened your profile each day, the daily form top-up could land twice, or overwrite a match you had just played.
All of it happens in one step now, and that step cannot be interrupted halfway.
Settling a whole lineup's energy also went from twenty-three separate operations to one, which the league feels every time a round is resolved.
