Striker Path v3.0.4: custom faces that fit, a safer chat, focused training

๐ŸŽจ Custom faces

  • ๐Ÿ“ Every face is the size of a real head. Custom faces used to come out at very different sizes: short hair at about 80% of a normal player's head, a tall ponytail at almost 150% and an anime picture at more than double. Now every face takes up what a drawn head with its hair does, with its chin on the neck. Faces from a tilted photo come out with level eyes, and every face carries the black outline. The faces already in the game have been resized too.
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Lined up by the chin. A face now sits on the neck by the point of its chin (a beard by the point of the beard), so a head turned a little no longer looks off to one side. Faces already in the game that sat off have been moved.
  • โœ๏ธ A drawing with big hair no longer comes out with the top of the hair cut flat: the hair ends in its own tips.
  • ๐ŸŽŒ Anime pictures that used to fail after being drawn now finish the set.
  • ๐Ÿ’ Headbands, nose tape and earrings grow and shrink with the face, so they stay where they belong.
  • ๐Ÿ” A failed set gives your generation back. If the Photo booth cannot draw your faces, the set returns its generation, so you can try again. If the image service refuses your picture (often a known character from a show or a game), it stops at once, gives the generation back and asks you for another picture. The inbox message says the same.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ A safer chat

  • โš ๏ธ A warning before a link takes you out of the game. Tapping a link in the Global, Country or Club chat, or in a club's pinned message, first shows You are leaving Striker Path: the site in large letters so a lookalike stands out, the full address, who sent it, in which room and how long ago. Striker Path never asks for your password, your payment details or a login outside the game, and nobody gives away gems for a link. strikerpath.com and our official Discord still open straight away.
  • ๐Ÿšฉ Report a scam. The report window has a new reason, Scam or dangerous link, and shows the message you are reporting. Once you report a chat message it no longer shows for you, and its place reads You reported this message. Staff will review it. Your reports also reach the staff faster.
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ A chat message that three different players report within a day is hidden until the moderators review it.
  • ๐Ÿงน Club leaders keep their chat clean. The President and the Captains can hide a message in their club's chat, or mute a member there for 15 minutes, 1 hour or 24 hours with a reason the player sees. The club sees who hid each message, the muted player is told who muted them and for how long, and nobody can moderate a leader of their own rank or above. Hidden messages show as a dashed line with a crossed eye. For anything serious, Report still goes to the game's staff.
  • ๐Ÿ”— Stricter link rules for everyone. Discord invites other than the official Striker Path one are refused, and so are link shorteners, IP loggers and sites pretending to be Striker Path. A message can carry at most two links, and a link next to "free gems", "giveaway" or similar wording is refused and counts as a serious offence. Other outside links still need an established account, and club notices can only link to Striker Path or its official Discord.
  • ๐Ÿชช No fake staff. Player and club names that pose as the people who run the game, or as the game itself (Staff, Admin, Moderator, Support, Striker Path and their usual respellings), are no longer accepted. Ordinary names that share some letters, like Modric or Admiral, are fine.
  • ๐Ÿคฌ The word filter now covers Portuguese, the worst slurs count as a serious offence straight away, and a blocked word counts towards the chat's warnings and mutes. Club chat goes through exactly the same automatic moderation as the other rooms.
  • ๐ŸŒ Better translations. If a translated message comes out with a word the filter does not allow, only that word is starred out instead of the whole translation being dropped. A line written half in one language and half in another now gets translated too, and after a dropped connection translations keep the language you read in.
  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ New messages no longer go missing when you switch rooms, change page or reopen the chat. A message that arrives while you read another room is waiting for you when you come back, and yours appears the moment you send it.
  • โœ‰๏ธ On the website, a private message you send shows only once, and opening an unread conversation clears its red light and the unread count.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Training

  • ๐ŸŽฏ Focus a session on one skill, for free. On the training screen, tap one of the category's skills before you start a solo session: half of the session's points (rounded up) go to that skill and the rest to the category's other skills. Tap it again to spread them as before. Your choice is remembered for each category, and the Coach's coffee still goes further, putting every point into one skill.
  • โœ… Trainings collect themselves. When the timer runs out, the session is collected on its own: the COMPLETE! stamp lands and the reward screen follows a second later. While a session runs there is only CANCEL, and Home and the menu refresh on their own once you are paid. A device clock running a little ahead no longer shows an error, and refused claims can no longer pile up and block you from claiming.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š The cards promise what a session pays. With a stats booster running, a training card could promise one point more than the session paid (+5 on a session that paid 4). The cards now use exactly the same calculation as the reward, booster included, and season pass holders also see the pass's extra training points. Payouts do not change.
  • ๐Ÿ˜ด Snooze the low energy reminder. When a session would leave you under 600 energy, the reminder to rest now has a Don't remind me for 24 hours switch. Turn it on and the reminder stays quiet on that device for a day, so a big gummy no longer means pressing it ten times.
  • ๐Ÿฅ With a Medical Center your long sleep lasts less than 7 hours. When that shorter rest ends before your club's planned session, REST now starts instead of being refused.
  • ๐Ÿ“‰ The weekly Earn league points mission asks for 10 points instead of 15, since only league matches count for it. Missions already running this week keep their target.

๐Ÿ‘• Your player and your club

  • ๐Ÿ‘• Short sleeves, your choice. Long sleeves are a Club Premium kit option. When your club's kit has them, Edit your player now has a Sleeves panel where you can pick short sleeves for yourself. You then wear them everywhere you appear, from profiles and lists to new match replays, while the club's kit previews keep showing the kit as designed.
  • ๐Ÿฉน Injuries and bans on the roster. On your club's roster, each shirt now carries a small tag when that player can't play normally: a red cross when injured and out, an amber cross when injured but able to play, and a red card when suspended. Screen readers hear it too.
  • ๐Ÿ”ญ Keep more scouted players. The Scout Market used to stop at 3 signed players for every club. Now the limit grows with your Scouting Network: 3 to start and one more every 3 levels, up to 10 from level 22, so a club that plays on its own can field a whole team of scouted players. The Scouting Network's level table shows how many signings each level allows.
  • ๐Ÿ† Cups count in your club history. Cup ties now count in the Matches figure of each club you played for, and a cup you won with your club shows on the Titles plaque and as a trophy on the club card.
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ The league lineup shows every real player's rating again (only BOTs had one), and ratings of 1,000 or more fit inside their round badge.
  • ๐Ÿ—๏ธ On the club grounds, the building the manager points at stops pulsing once you open it and only pulses again for a new reason. A building that finished a level says UPGRADED! once, not every time you open it.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š The league line on a player's profile now compares where your club and theirs really stand in their groups this week.

โšฝ Matches

  • ๐Ÿ Full time, live. Live matches now end like the replay does: the last player leaves, the referee comes on, the ball is put away and the three-blast final whistle sounds. The result still waits until the match is settled.
  • โ†”๏ธ The home team stays on the left of the live scoreboard for the whole match, even after the teams change ends at half time.
  • ๐ŸŽฌ Calmer replays. In matches played from now on, a foul is framed while the ball is still in play, the camera pans to a free kick instead of going through a dark screen, and when a ball goes out for a corner the players stay where they are and the one who put it out clears it himself. Matches already played keep the replay they had.
  • ๐Ÿฅ… An own goal is nobody's goal. When a defender puts the ball in his own net, the attacker whose shot he deflected no longer gets the goal in his career numbers, his Goal Machine achievement or his season pass key actions. The league match page lists the moment once, so the running score matches the final result. The player who scored in his own net now carries a red OG tag next to his name in the match ratings and player notes, with x2 if he did it twice.
  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Unopened matches open themselves after 24 hours, promotion play-offs included. Until then the Match tab keeps every match still waiting on its first page, and the dot on the Match button counts them all.
  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Your stats stay on show. Your career, season and club history numbers no longer disappear while a match waits to be opened: they show your real totals without it, with a line saying how many matches are not counted yet. Players who already opened it, or were never in it, see everything as it is. Trophies and achievements from that match wait until you open it, and cup ties now wait like league matches and friendlies for achievements, missions and the season pass.
  • ๐Ÿ“บ Replays of matches played before 3.0.3 open again, and matches with a free kick that hits the wall or flies over the bar play in the full match view. The old fallback viewer is gone: a match that cannot be drawn plays its score, minute and commentary with a notice instead.

๐Ÿ”ง Fixes

  • ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Stamps land in the right place. A stamp now lands once, on the card or pop-up you pressed, with the right word. BOUGHT is the green ink stamp everywhere in the shop, a cup sign-up gets ENTERED (in amber for the waiting list), saving a shirt number says SAVED, accepting, declining or cancelling a friend request says DONE, and flipping a switch no longer covers its whole row. Rewards fly to your wallet without a stamp on top, and long words print smaller instead of being cut.
  • ๐Ÿ’Ž The Buy booster? prompt names the currency you actually pay with.
  • โœ‰๏ธ Withdrawing a club invite from the club board works again: its confirmation now opens on top of the board instead of under it.
  • ๐Ÿ”— A shared blog article shows its own title, summary and picture in the preview, and translated pages show their footer in their own language from the start.
  • ๐Ÿ“ฑ In the app: the keyboard no longer covers the field you are typing in (the chat box, pop-ups with a text field, search and form fields), the Buy booster? prompt shows the booster's name and price, MARK ALL READ in the inbox tells you how many messages it marked, and cancelling a training works again on the app you already have. Some of these reach your phone with the next app update.

Thank you HVRIZON, Kappi, Nedeam, knuefi, jaimejaimejaime and Jasiek for the reports and ideas behind this update. See you on the pitch! โšฝ
